"Road to the Rockies" Continues for Ned Crotty

The Lacrosse Network continues its video chronicle of the journey from training camp to the FIL World Championships with Team USA, catching up with Ned Crotty for his thoughts on his first experience at a world games, back in 2010 when he played for the U.S. Men's gold-winning squad in Manchester, England.

Part one of the series captured the team’s January training weekend and Blue-White exhibition at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla., and culminated with the 30-man roster announcement, live on YouTube.

Part two rejoins the team as they meet for training camp in Connecticut and Massachusetts, leading up to this week's MLL All-Star Game and subsequent 23-man final roster announcement. Five additional episodes will be released in the two weeks leading up to the FIL World Championship.

Ned Crotty (New York Lizards) recounts his journey as an unlikely hero in the 2010 FIL World Championship final, where he came off the bench to score the game-tying and game-winning goals for Team USA in a 12-10 victory over Team Canada.
