NBC Sports to Air Moe's Southwest Grill Classic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The third annual Moe's Southwest Grill Classic will be played Feb. 17, 2013 at EverBank Field, home of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars.

Penn State will take on Denver in the opening game at 2 p.m. ET, followed by Jacksonville University playing Ohio State in the biggest men's lacrosse event in the Southeast. NBC Sports Network is scheduled to broadcast both games. This year's event will also have a high school day on Feb. 18, when 18 high school teams are scheduled to play at EverBank throughout the day.

Mayor Alvin Brown joined Jacksonville University Athletic Director Brad Edwards, JU Men's Lacrosse Coach Guy Van Arsdale and Moe's franchise owner Brad Chasteen on Monday to announce the return of the Classic.

"These events are excellent opportunities to open doors and tell the Jacksonville story to the world," said Mayor Brown. "I want to thank Jacksonville University and Moe's for all of the hard work that goes into building a great fan experience in our city."
