Loyola's first big test as a member of the Patriot League arrives in the form of a trip up to Lehigh to take on the two-time defending champion Mountain Hawks, who are on their best start since 1997 at 4-0.

Loyola enters at 3-1 with a 1-0 league record behind a 16-4 win over Holy Cross last week, a second straight lopsided win coming in the footsteps of a 20-4 rout of Towson. The Greyhounds first two contests had both been overtime thrillers, with a loss against Virginia and a win over Penn State on the road before gaining some more breathing room in its last two tilts. Nikko Pontrello has 15 goals and 19 points already for Loyola, one goal shy of his career high from last season.

Lehigh can match its best start since 1960 with a win on Saturday and has won nine straight regular season games and 13 in a row against league competition. Reid Weber (7G, 3A), Patrick Corbett (9G) and Dan Taylor (5, 3) have carried the offensive load so far for the Mountain Hawks, while Ryan Buttenbaum has won face-offs at a 61% clip.
