RICHMOND, Va. - Junior midfielder Nikki Marcinik (Southern H.S./Deale, Md.) of Towson University has been selected as a co-recipient of the Colonial Athletic Association Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week award for the week ending April 12, it has been announced by CAA officials.

Marcinik, who shared the award with William & Mary sophomore Grace Golden, led the Tigers to a pair of wins last week by scoring 12 goals with an assist.

After scoring five goals in the Tigers' 13-11 overtime win at 19th-ranked Hofstra on Friday, Marcinik scored a career-high seven goals to lead Towson to a 17-12 victory over Drexel on Sunday afternoon. She also had an assist as the Tigers defeated Drexel for the 16th straight time.
