Campbell Joins Siena Staff

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Siena College head coach Andrea Duffy has finalized her 2011 coaching staff with the addition of Julia Campbell. A 2009 graduate of Lees-McRae College, where she excelled in both women's lacrosse and soccer, Campbell joins Molly Ortolano as an assistant on the Saints' staff.

"I am looking forward to having Julia join our staff", noted Duffy. Julia's incredible work ethic and determination to be a positive mentor for our student-athletes will help us with our goals this season as a staff and a team." "I am looking forward to working with Coach Duffy and Coach Ortolano and the rest of the Siena Women's Lacrosse team this season as we work towards capturing the MAAC Championship," said Campbell.

Campbell was a four-time letterwinner for the Bobcats' women's lacrosse team and earned two letters in women's soccer. Campbell, who played collegiately for Duffy, was a team MVP and Coaches Award recipient. During her senior year, she finished in the top-10 nationally at the Division II ranks in groundballs and was in the top-30 in caused turnovers.

A native of Black Mountain, N.C., Campbell earned her degree from Lees-McRae in May 2009 in Business and Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Management.

Campbell and the Saints open the 2011 season on Feb. 22 at UAlbany.
