Ashley Hunter, the Georgetown junior defender and the Hoyas' best pre-game dancer, discusses her locker-room moves, comeback wins and California.

Who is your favorite athlete?
Michael Jordan. He's one of the most talented athletes in the world, and he's so competitive and determined.

What's one thing you can't live without?
My iPhone. I couldn't go a day without texting, checking my emails, going on Facebook or playing Words With Friends.

Who in lacrosse is destined to be a reality TV star?
My teammate, Lauren Gray. I've known her since we were freshman in high school; she played on my travel club lacrosse team. She's the most outrageous and entertaining person I know. She has all the characteristics and qualities that people like to see in TV stars — she's funny when she's not trying to be, she's loud and she's an entertaining person. She pretty much says whatever is on her mind.

Do you Google yourself?
No. And if I did I wouldn't tell anyone.

What's under your bed right now?
Lacrosse bags, travel bags. Nothing interesting.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
My grandfather. He was my mom's dad and he died before I was born.

If you could trade places with any one person for a day, who would it be?
Rihanna. I wish I had her voice. She's one of my favorite singers. Also it'd be cool to have red hair for a day.

What's one thing that always puts you in a good mood?
Hanging out with my friends. Dancing always puts me in the best mood too. I like to think that I could be on MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew." I don't really have a go-to move, but if anybody could choreograph a move for me I would totally do it. I jump around and move my feet a lot, arms swinging. Going crazy.

Where did you go on your last vacation?
My aunt took my brother, my little cousin and me to Santa Monica, Calif., last summer for about a week. I loved it. I pretty much went shopping and relaxed on the beach every day.

What's one thing lacrosse really needs?
It definitely needs more TV time. The men's final four was on ESPN last year, but the women's championship game wasn't available for as many people to see it [It was on ESPNU this year]. It would be great to have women's Big East and ACC competitors against each other, and have our NCAA games on TV. There's been exposure for men's games, but it would be great for people to warm up to the women's game. More publicity for everyone.

It's 2022 – Where are you and what are you doing?
Hopefully rich and living in California. My mom always tells me I'm too high-maintenance, so I need to have a high-paying job, or a rich husband.

What's been the proudest moment of your lacrosse career?
Making the high school Under Amour All-American team. It was a really cool experience, and they gave us free Chipotle.

Do you have any pregame rituals?
Not really. A lot of people tie their shoes a certain way or listen to a specific song. I just like to dance and have fun. It keeps me calm before the game. It helps me get loose. I remember my freshman year when we played Johns Hopkins, my first college game, and I was so nervous in the locker room. When I started dancing I wasn't nervous after that. Ever since then I've continued dancing.

What's your favorite moment of a lacrosse game?
Comeback wins. For example, say we're playing someone like Northwestern and we're down by five goals, but then all of a sudden we come back and win. I wouldn't prefer a comeback win, but that's probably the most exciting part of the game. It's great to win any game, but I get more of an adrenaline rush when we're down and get to come back. Like the Loyola game my freshman year, when we went into two overtimes with them and came back from a seven-goal second-half deficit. It was such a thrill.

One word you would use to describe yourself?

(from Duke sophomore attackman Jordan Wolf): What is the last song you listen to before you play?
"Bring it Back" by Travis Porter.

Double Overtime

(from Dane Cobb, Benbrook, Texas): What was the last great song you listened to?
"Princess of China" by Coldplay.

Pose a question for our next subject.
Can you impersonate anyone? If so, who?

Sumbit a Double Overtime Question
