BALTIMORE - James Madison Club is the top team in the preseason rankings for the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II. The Dukes captured the tournament title a year ago, appearing in their first-ever National Tournament.

Led by Julia Joo, James Madison went 14-3 in the regular season and won the Mid Atlantic Women's Lacrosse League (MAWLL) Division II title to earn the top seed at nationals, then beat Santa Barbara City, Loyola and Utah to take the crown.

Utah finished second to JMU in the finals a year ago, and is slotted in the same spot in our preseason rankings, with semifinalists Duke Club and Loyola Club and 2012 WCLA Division II champion North Carolina Club rounding out the top 5.
