DELAWARE, Ohio -- After capturing his second consecutive NCAA championship with Duke, Jordan Wolf made his debut with the Rochester Rattlers. Wolf, the No. 2 overall pick in the Major League Lacrosse draft, scored four goals in his first MLL game, but the Rattlers could not slow down a potent Ohio Machine offense in an 18-13 loss Saturday at  Selby Stadium.

With the help of Wolf (four goals, one assist) and fellow rookie Miles Thompson (three goals), Rochester got off to quick start, jumping ahead 6-2 early in the second quarter before taking a 9-7 lead into halftime.

However, led by Logan Schuss (four goals), game MVP Peter Baum (five goals, one assist) and Marcus Holman (five goals), the Machine stormed back, going on a second-half run that saw them score 10 of 12 goals to grab the lead and never look back. The 18 goals were the most the Machine had scored in a game since joining the MLL in 2012.

Kevin Leveille, who last week set the all-time MLL goals record (271) in Rochester's double-overtime win over the Chesapeake Bayhawks, was limited to one goal. Steele Stanwick had six assists for the Machine is tied for the MLL lead with Paul Rabil and Casey Powell with 19 on the season.

Brian Phipps made 16 saves, as Ohio moved to 3-4, marking the first time the team has reached three wins in a season. John Galloway also made 16 saves, but the loss dropped Rochester to 4-3.

Next week, Ohio travels to Harvard Stadium as it looks to win its rematch agains the Boston Cannons, while Rochester will head south to take on the upstart Florida Launch.
