What does wearing the Team USA uniform mean to you?: It is a dream come true for me to be wearing the red, white, and blue. Ever since I bought my first ever goalie gear in seventh grade and I saw a USA lacrosse jersey hanging in the store, it has been my dream. I like to call it my own Miracle. because I pretended that I was a member of the 1980 Olympic Ice Hockey Team by roller blading around my neighborhood. I, just like the hockey team, defied all odds to become a part of something bigger than myself. I am glad to look in the mirror everyday and say, This is who I am and I am proud of it; happy with who I am and what I have accomplished; no regrets, no fears, all for the love of the game. I am proud to say that my childhood dream has come true and I am ecstatic to say that I am a member of the United States Women’s Lacrosse Team.
